Leah 15 Months

Leah is no longer a little baby, but a true toddler/kid! We keep saying to ourselves "This is my favorite stage" and then it just keeps getting better. The last 3 months since her birthday have flown by, and it is crazy how much she has changed in that time.

What is she up to now? She is pretty much sleeping the night. We are in a bit of a regression where she wakes up crying in the middle of the night, but usually just needs to be rocked for 2 minutes and then she's good to go back to sleep. Typically wakes up at 8AM which I have loved!

She is good at her sign language (thank you, more, all done). Her actual verbal language is very good though too! "Alllll Done, Bye Bye, Daddy, Gigi (her stuffed animal), Santa, Jesus, Up (this is her favorite word right now. Up Up Up!).

She is still a pretty good eater. Some nights she decides she is picky, but we can usually get her to eat whatever it is by giving her some kind of dip/ranch/ketchup with the food.

She knows to fold her hands when we pray, and is pretty good at saying Amen at the right time too!

She is starting to get scared at different things. Josh being the Grinch for Halloween was the first time she showed she was scared.

She LOVVVEDD the Christmas tree - specifically pulling off the ornaments/lights/ribbon. It is nice to have the Christmas tree down so that I don't have to keep pulling her away.

She is about 24-25 pounds, and a very tall girl too! We have her dr. appt next week so I can see exactly how much she's grown. She is able to climb onto our chairs and couch now, which she thinks is pretty cool. She can go up and down the stairs pretty well without falling too.

Leah's face when she saw "The Grinch"

She loved when Matthew was using our bouncy chair - it meant she got to sit in it too.

Oh Please Mommy, Give me Another Oreo

She LOVES to flip through books

A nice shiner from falling off the couch.
