Leah - 2 and a Half!

 Our girl is growing and changing so much! Her vocabulary has been strong for a while, but it is really starting to take off. She is definitely at that age that some of the things she says just make you laugh. On the other hand, she is NOT  the most balanced/coordinated/graceful of toddlers. She is getting better at hopping with both feet, though. 

Either way, she is our big girl! She is a 4T pant size and 4T-5T shirt size. Most 4T shirts don't contain her big (and long) belly anymore. She weighs 33 pounds. She is a pretty good eater - will eat most veggies, ALL fruits, and loves her pasta and pizza. 

She is definitely ready for spring/summer. She is an outdoor girl and would stay outside all day if we let her. She knows all her basic shapes, colors, foods, animals, etc. She is getting pretty good at coloring in her books, and she surprises me with how she is even close at staying in lines. Something that we have realized lately is that she has learned the Lord's Prayer (just about the whole thing, with help of course). She started saying it with Luke in church and I quizzed her when we got home -sure enough. That doesn't seem possible already! 

We are not potty training for real yet. I am just holding off until summer when I am home with her all day and can have the consistency in place. She is still sleeping in the crib (after many adjustments of moving her to a toddler bed a year ago already). She will go in and out of phases where she wakes up in the night or when she sleeps through. Right now, we're in an awake phase from 3-5 a.m. Not too fun.. 

Her TV favorites of hers right now are Frozen, Moana, Tangled, and Cocomelon. 

She is really starting to love Brady. She is always wondering where he is, wanting to go get him from his naps, help put lotion on him, etc. 

I can't believe next up for her is 3 years! She won't be starting preschool yet this year because she is a couple weeks too young - which is okay. I don't need her to grow up that fast!
