Gosh, I need to get this post done before her One Year Post rolls around! What a fun month! Leah is truly becoming such an actual kid. This month started out with my family vacation at Lutheran Island Camp. We missed having Luke with us; he has to stay home to study for all his Thrivent Financial Tests. Leah loved the sand and tried putting it in her mouth several times. She LOVED the water and would have spent the whole day swimming if I let her. She even got her very first ride in the tube behind the boat! A slow ride of course - she didn't have many thoughts about that.
She is starting to show more opinions towards foods she likes or dislikes. The ones she dislikes will go in, and come right back out. We are learning on teaching her the sign language for "more" and "all done". She has started sleeping better. We have gotten several all nights, but still have about 4 nights a week with at least one wake up/screaming fit. I will take it though!! She is starting to stand on her own without support from anything else, and has even taken one baby step. Car keys and cell phones are her favorite toys! She still says "roof roof" every other noise she makes it seems. She is also starting to say "moo" for the cows at Grandma at the farm. Loving this little girl and can't believe one year is next up!
