Brady is one BUSY boy! Luke and I are always making the comment "Leah was not this ________". She was so calm compared to his active mind and legs! Around 14 months, he started walking consistently. He hasn't stopped moving since! His favorite things include tackling Leah, tearing books off shelves, playing "catch", bath time, taking his socks off in the car, and playing "boo". He is slowly getting the hang of sounds and some words. He isn't always as interested in reading books, but he is picking up on the words: dad, Leah, catch, switch, moo, boo, yeah, and kiss. I only get to hear him say mama when he is really mad! Speaking of which, he is right on track for tantrums! He is pretty good at throwing himself down on the floor and screaming! He is quite a busy boy, and doesn't like being bored!
Leah is really growing into a "big kid." Not only does she keep growing so fast, but she is starting to learn so much! Her favorite things include reading books, watching shows/movies, coloring, practicing her letters and using a scissors, snacking, helping mom in the kitchen, and making Brady laugh. She has learned how to write "mom" and "Leah." We attended preschool open house a month ago, and she was so excited. Next year she will be in 3-year old preschool, but will be probably one of the oldest ones in her class. She won't have any problems, and we are so excited for her! She is ready for summer and picking rocks, riding her trike, swimming, and going on walks.
Speaking of summer, baby Thun who is due in July is already 20 weeks! Pregnancy has been going really well and easy so far. I am starting to feel more movements, but not as much as I was with Brady. Sometimes I think it's a girl for sure, and the next minute I'm thinking it will be a boy. The joys of waiting to find out!
Leah will love school! And great form on her volleyball picture! Also, did she discover that Minnesota chip herself, or did someone else? Love Brady's Space Jam photo!
ReplyDeleteThe Minnesota chip was all on her own. Just from the few times this winter I had the news on to watch the weather, she picked up on what the state looks like. She pulled the chip out and all on her own "hey, this is a Minnesota chip!"
