My sweet birthday twin is ONE! We got to celebrate our first year of birthdays together and it was so wonderful. We held her birthday party at Rachel's house along with Jonah's birthday party this year. It was the day before her birthday, and in the same manner as her sister (the day before her birthday) she took her FIRST steps! We all couldn't believe it because I did not think she was really close at all. She loved to walk behind her walker toy, but I did not expect it. The funny thing was though, she stopped it cold turkey again after that. She did not actually start real walking until almost a full month later.
She had her one year doctor appointment and checked in at about 50% for both height and weight. My frozen milk ended up lasting almost a whole extra month past her birthday as well. She switched to whole milk and sippy cups shortly after it was gone. She still sleeps well at night, some nights we have learned we just need to let her cry and then she will put herself back to sleep.
Her talking is not real words yet, but she babbles all day long. It sounds like she is having real conversations in her head, it just doesn't sound that way to us. She has 4 teeth, her top two did not come in until after her birthday.
